HOW TO OVERCOME STAGE FRIGHT BEFORE PERFORMING?

  • PRACTICE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL CONFIDENT IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE:-Many individual think that they will forget your lines and won't know what to do.The best thing is to understand the speech u are going to present instead of memorizing it.Another way is to practice in front of your friends or other people you don't know and practicing in front of mirror works a lot .

  • TRY TO GET TOTALLY IN CHARACTER :-The best way to over come the stage fear ,is working deeply on thoughts,and tensions of your character.More you are in your character at the stage more portraying  you are ,moreover you will forget your worries and tension towards the presentation.Act like a actor performing for his first film this will definitely help you.

  • DO PHYSICAL GESTURE:-If u want to make your presentation more interesting try to do physical movement and it will show that you are physically and mentally fit and prepared for your presentation.

  • KEEP YOUR MIND EMPTY:-Once you are on the stage just try to focus on your words and speech do not keep anything in your  mind.Many people try to learn extra thing before the speech which distract them and they even forget their own learned part,so its my personal opinion try to be calm and quit and chill.

HOW TO AVOID STAGE FRIGHT?

In my last blog i have posted the some points to avoid stage fright which i would like to continue.To avoid the stage fright one must know no one is born to be a presenter.Here are the some legal points i want to site from my own experience:-

  • Laugh as much u can:- Laughing is the best medicine in this world try to watch some type of comedy movies so that you can divert your mind from presenting yourself.As more you think about it more you will be nervous and frighten.

  • GET EARLY  TO THE PLACE:-Show yourself earlier where u r going to present.However if you are reaching there earlier it will help to control yourself as there would be less audience as compared to see the full audience by reaching late, which would make you more nervous and full of fear.

  • One best thing which i like the most is that think all people in the audience is deaf they  don't listen anything or imagine the individual like the most is sitting in the audience and you have to present in order to impress him.This type of little things really help to be a good presenter.This are the point i want to express, which hopefully help every individual who fear of stage fright .

HOW TO AVOID STAGE FRIGHT?

The stage frighten can be avoided by the different reason before the day of presenting ur self to thje audience as follows:-
  • MAKE YOURSELF RELAX AND CONFIDENT:-There are things you can do to make yourself confident and relax so that u can perform well.
  1. Eat some food before performing ,it will lower the empty feeling in your stomach but will not make you full either.
  2. Streching your arms, shoulders, back legs would help you to relax your body.
  3. Try to watch the motivational movies it will help to build your confidence.
  4. Drink enough water before performing.

  • Try to do meditate before going to give performance:-On the day before performance get early in the morning and go to a quite place to do meditation to relax every part of your body.Rest your hands on the lap and fold your legs and close your eyes.

  •  Avoid cigarette or caffeine if your addicted to it:-The reason is that if you have mentality that it will help you to get confidence then you are wrong.however it will make you more nervous and jittery.

  • DO SOME EXERCISE:-By doing the exercise you will feel more relax and would also get rid of the tensions.We should keep in mind that try to do light exercise avoid heavy exercise so that u would not feel tiered.

WHY STAGE FRIGHTEN OCCUR?

Stage nervousness happens mainly due to lack of confidence and fear due to nervousness.It may also be associated with not meeting the expectations of the listeners. stage fright is often accompanied by the the ejection of adrenaline hormone in the body.Most of the time stage frighten occurs because we are not prone to it.Here i would like to site my own knowledge,that is as we are getting excitement at a wedding or we get top marks in the class test.Most of us don't call this sensation anxiety, in spite of fact that is same physiological reaction are being happen during the stage fright. There are some reason why it mainly occurs:-

  • It occurs due to the lack of confidence in an individual who is presenting itself.
  • Stage frighten occurs when we think that we are not up to the expectation of the audience or we are unable express our self to people.
  • If we are not dressed well.
  • Lack of preparation.
  • If we think our opponents are more intelligent or good orator.

WHAT IS WORD STAGE FRIGHT?

                                          
The word stage frighten means persistent phobia which may be caused in an individual by the requirement to perform in front of many people.Many people afraid to present in front of other individuals because they have mentality that what would they think about their appearance or their presentation.According to  me stage fright is over confidence level to present over self to the audience.Moreover psychologists explain that it is not eject from over head, whereas when our body encounters something frighten like stage frighten then our body release unneeded energy that our body doesn't need.They common symptoms of stage frighten is sweating, fast heartbeat and even some people feel giddiness.

The stage frighten differ from people to people, most of people when get nervous at the stage they forget what they want to express to the people. however they have learned the whole spech just because of fear they are unable to present.It can be seen in every type of people old or young.

Overall the stage nervousness is common and mainly seen among the individuals who are presenting the audience first time.I am also one of them who had experience the stage frighten. The best pile to avoid it is increase your confidence level.
